Nothing beats cheering on your favorite basketball team from the stands. The Staples Center is the King’s Castle 👑 (sorry Clippers’ fans), and when you have a ticket to an epic game or event, the last thing you want is to be late because of parking. Here’s how to find easy and cheap parking near Staples.
The Staples Center boasts 3,300 parking spaces at the parking lots and garages that it owns. There are an additional 10,000 nearby parking spots between the many private lots and garages that surround the Staples Center. All in all, there are tons of options!
The Staples Center’s Parking Lot W (West Garage) and Lot E (East Garage) are open every day from 6 am – 2 pm. For longer events (lasting over 3 ½ hours), try to find parking at Lot W, where you can pay a flat fee ranging from $10 – $30, depending on the kind of event.
If you are looking for timed parking, Lot E is where you want to be. It’s $10 for the first two hours and $10 more for each additional half an hour. However, there is a $30 daily maximum, so this option is best for shorter events.
If you are looking for cheaper options than on-site parking, there are many nearby convenient spots – from private lots to metered and free street parking. Be aware that street parking fills up very quickly, so you might face some stiff competition to find some available spots.
You will find all your options on the SpotAngels map below – including exclusive deals at nearby garages and lots.
Save even more by booking ahead – many parking garages post higher rates when you pay onsite.
The Staples Center also offers plenty of handicap accessible parking spots and can accommodate all sorts of needs ranging from oversized parking to motorcycle parking. Lot W and Lot E even have electric charging stations!
Although it may be tempting, keep in mind that tailgating is strictly prohibited! Luckily there are plenty of great restaurants nearby to grab a bite and a drink before the big game or concert.
